The "Gender Perspectives in Urban Development" online course 2024, is funded

German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and co-hosted by Via Austroboreal and 2811.
The course is offered by the DAAD as part of its Alumni Program to strengthen capacities and knowledge of concepts, tools and methods in their fields.

2811 Social Enterprise UG is a purpose-driven company working in the field of climate action
education, applying social innovation to adapt to deliver sustainable
solutions to the consequences of climate crises for youth. Founded
in Berlin in May of 2020, our programs for climate action make learning
about climate change and green solutions accessible to young people in
Germany, Europe, Latin America and Africa. The 2811 platform builds
human capacity for climate action by enabling dynamic, friendly and
meaningful learning while connecting with young activists and experts
from around the world.
Via Austroboreal e. V. (Vab) is a diaspora non-profit organisation based in Berlin with partners in other parts of Europe and Latin America. Vab is a group of female professionals with different backgrounds and interests working to promote more inclusive, just, and sustainable societies. They implement projects that promote responsible and foresightful use of natural and human resources, enabling sustainable and friendly development with communities, territories, and ecosystems. Vab also does consultancy for development of public policies and strategic socio-urban plans.
